The proposal for the new laboratories at Universidad Javeriana envisions the campus as a bridge between the mountain and the city, generating a network of interconnected open spaces that link urban life with the foothills of Bogotá’s main geographical landmark. This strategy enables green flows from the east and a monumental ascent towards the mountain, starting from the iconic Carrera Séptima.

The project creates a major ecological corner where the Arzobispo River meets the National Park, forming the main natural gateway from the eastern hills into the urban center. This point is understood as a major urban node where key avenues, urban ecosystems, and social dynamics converge.

The design proposes a true urban ecosystem, reconnecting territory, campus, and technology into a continuous living experience of space and time, integrating landscape, academic activity, and daily life into a unified, vibrant whole.
