Opening up to the City and Community:
Opening up a space for the city, spirits, and minds involves interpreting pedagogy as something that changes over time and must seek roots with the site and culture to liberate spaces, granting them to integration and co-creation of perspectives. The classroom is understood as a cell articulated to collaborative spaces intertwined with the city through a gallery that organizes the parts and interconnects academic communities and citizenship. An agora – a stoa.

Connection and Coexistence:
From the city to knowledge, from re-creation to geography. A system of open spaces is proposed to connect the three autonomous buildings through a shared axis, which extends the Recinto de la Britalia park to the south of the site. Consequently, a backbone is proposed that democratizes space and opens it up for citizen enjoyment while showing students a surrounding city reorganized by a culture program that activates and redefines it.

Integration and Activation:
The colonnade embracing the entrances and uses integrates the ensemble through a walk of creativity, pedagogical leisure, and academic and cultural activities projected from the interior to the exterior, fostering encounters, exchanges, and relationships.

Diversity and Sustainability:
A landscape of biodiversity and cultural diversity. The same axis links the sky to the ground while chaining different uses and accesses, forming a gestalt of encounters mediated by a unique way of reading the landscape: that of the gallery. The load-bearing structure is the grammar of an agreed rhythm so that everything is organized through a grid that revolves around the open space. There, pedagogical experiences are gathered surrounded by diverse natures and native species, akin to an ecological library of courtyards and squares.
